In her role, Giulianna serves as a primary representative to community organizations and city staff ensuring that inclusive community engagement solutions are centered on equity and accessibility. Giulianna’s background is in policy research, campaigns, and managing nonprofit programs.
Iris Alcantara
Director of Asset Management, Esperanza Community Housing
Iris has over 15 years of experience in asset and property management in affordable housing. She currently is the Director of Asset Management and is responsible for the oversight of all of Esperanza’s low-income housing projects in South Central Los Angeles.
Jacob Serfling
Director of Policy & Projects, Midwest Building Decarbonization Coalition (Midwest BDC)
Jacob is working with members to advance policies and partner on projects that support the coalition's priorities. Prior to joining Midwest BDC, he was a licensed mechanical engineer in the State of Iowa with over a decade of experience in the HVAC and energy efficiency industry.
Jaime Love
Director of Programs, People's Climate Innovation Center
Jaime Love (she/her) provides leadership, strategy and support to People's Climate Innovation Center programs that advance approaches to community-driven planning and movement building, while centering racial equity and whole-systems solutions. Jaime has over 20 years of experience in a variety of spaces including public health, philanthropy, and climate resilience, with a deep focus on racial justice and health equity.
Jaime Rhodes
Senior Attorney & Director of Clean Buildings, Conservation Law Foundation
Jamie Rhodes is a Senior Attorney and Director of the Clean Buildings Program for Conservation Law Foundation (CLF) out of their Providence, Rhode Island office. This position includes researching and sharing best practices and emerging issue with clean building advocates across the six states in which CLF is active. Within Rhode Island, he is the lead advocate in electric regulatory cases, including intervening in regulatory proceedings and engaging with the General Assembly on related bills and proposals.
Jeremy Hays
Managing Partner, Upright Consulting Services
Jeremy Hays is Managing Partner at Upright Consulting Services, where he helps cities, nonprofits, and community-based organizations design equitable climate and workforce strategies rooted in high road principles. He previously served as Executive Director of Green For All and National Organizing Director for the Apollo Alliance for Good Jobs and Clean Energy, where he led national efforts to align climate policy and investment with economic inclusion. Jeremy has guided multi-million-dollar equity-focused initiatives and advised federal, state, and local agencies on workforce, equity, and sustainability.
JULIAN MOCINE-MCQUEEN
Founder , Million Person Project
Julian is an Oakland, CA native and long time organizer. He is the co-founder and Training Director for the Million Person Project, a global project about love, storytelling and connecting change makers. He brings a deep passion for helping leaders uncover and harness the power of their personal narrative for their work. Prior to the Million Person Project Julian was a founding team member of Green For All. His career is fueled by a strong belief in authentic movements that are powered by people.

Vice President of Building Resilient Futures, Enterprise Community Partners
Krista Egger builds and leads transformational initiatives within the affordable housing sector, working towards a future when all homes are healthy, resilient, and affordable. As VP of Building Resilient Futures at Enterprise Community Partners, she stewards the organization’s national environmental programs.
Laila Atalla
Senior Associate, Carbon-Free Buildings Program, RMI
Laila Atalla is a Senior Associate with RMI’s Carbon-Free Buildings Program. Prior to joining RMI, Laila worked in the City of Sacramento’s Office of Climate Action and Sustainability, and before that, at the California Air Resources Board. Laila lives in Santa Fe, NM.
Lauren Westmoreland
Vice President, Energy & Sustainability, Stewards of Affordable Housing for the Future
Lauren Westmoreland leads SAHF’s environmental initiatives, including the Bringing Sustainability Home (BSH), a cross-cutting energy and health initiative that aims to ensure that low-income residents and communities have equal access to critical environmental and health benefits. In addition to BSH, Ms. Westmoreland is building upon the success of the Big Reach to support SAHF members in identifying scalable solutions for a low-carbon future that benefits low-income resident and communities and mitigates the impact of climate change.
LESLIE FIELDS
Chief Federal Officer, WE ACT for Environmental Justice
Based in Washington, D.C., Leslie Fields has worked for 30 years at the intersection of federal, state, local, and international environmental justice and environmental and civil rights law and policy. Fields most recently led Regional Energy Democracy Initiative (REDI) at the Department of Energy’s Office of Energy Justice and Equity. Prior to that project, Leslie spent 16 years with the Sierra Club, departing as the National Director, Policy Advocacy and Legal.
Linda nguyen
Executive Director, Community Builders Network
In the last decade, Linda has created and managed anti-displacement programming that addresses the needs of hundreds of low- and moderate-income households, completed several community-wide needs assessments to identify current gaps of service and areas of opportunities, provided strategic planning and board development for two growing nonprofits, and organized numerous community events and workshops that provided community stakeholders with the tools to take action.
Logan Atkinson Burke
Executive Director, Alliance for Affordable Energy
Since joining The Alliance in 2013, Ms. Burke has participated in dozens of regulatory proceedings at the Louisiana Public Service Commission, the New Orleans City Council, the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission, the Department of Energy, and the Environmental Protection Agency. She has also led several collaborative efforts with advocacy organizations advocating for climate justice, affordable housing, public health, and good governance, ultimately contributing to reports on health impacts of energy, the creation of a sustainable housing policy for New Orleans, and a more holistic consideration of resource planning, including the impacts of climate change.

Senior Policy Director, ACEEE
Mark Kresowik supports the success of the members of ACEEE’s policy team and our partners shaping decisions at the local, state, utility, and federal levels across every part of the economy as we accelerate ambition for improving energy efficiency and centering those most historically overburdened and underserved in our communities. Mark joined ACEEE in 2022.
Marnese Jackson
Coalition Director, California Green New Deal Coalition
Zach Lou previously worked at the California Workforce Development Board on the High Road Training Partnerships program, working with unions and community organizations to develop equitable pathways into jobs needed for climate action. He was also the lead author for Resilience Before Disaster, a report sponsored by APEN, SEIU, and the BlueGreen Alliance that highlighted models for community resilience and social infrastructure.

Paige Knappenberger is the Program Director of the Environment & Health Program, where she guides PSR’s national work on climate, energy and air quality. Paige leads the Environment and Health team to collaboratively conceive and develop new program ideas, research and write reports and white papers and engage PSR chapters and members in advocacy. Before joining PSR, Paige was the Director of Partnerships at Climate Nexus, where she provided partners with strategic communications and media support, built out the organization’s climate and health vertical and served as an author on six Lancet Countdown U.S. Policy Briefs.
