Antonio is originally from the Texas- Mexico frontera/ borderlands. He attended the University at Texas at Austin where he studied Philosophy. He has been active in the movement for environmental and economic justice since the early 1990’s. He moved to the Bay Area in 1995 and has been organizing with PODER since then. Antonio is PODER’s Organizational Director. He is currently on the steering committees of San Francisco RisingBay Rising, and the California Environmental Justice Alliance.

Chief Federal Officer, WE ACT for Environmental Justice

Based in Washington, D.C., Leslie Fields has worked for 30 years at the intersection of federal, state, local, and international environmental justice and environmental and civil rights law and policy. Fields most recently led Regional Energy Democracy Initiative (REDI) at the Department of Energy’s Office of Energy Justice and Equity. Prior to that project, Leslie spent 16 years with the Sierra Club, departing as the National Director, Policy Advocacy and Legal.

Srinidhi Sampath-kumar

Building Electrification Campaign Director, Sierra Club

Prior to Sierra Club, she oversaw RMI’s building decarbonization policy campaigns in the West and Interior West. She spearheaded RMI’s growing body of affordable housing policy work and equitable implementation of federal programs at the state levels. Her experience at an affordable housing organization, California Housing Partnership, where she led energy efficiency and decarbonization program implementation helped her understand gaps and opportunities to address the silos between housing and climate sectors.
